2009 Husqvarna TE250

2009 Husqvarna TE250
TE 250 - HUSQVARNA. The little twin cam 250 cc has a new exhaust system with a race ready aluminium exhaust pipe that meets the noise emission levels set by the FIM.
The engine has had an oil circuit pressure relief valve fitted to the oil pump circuit to regulate oil pressure in line with engine rpm. This new valve prevents pressure peaks under cold conditions, limits power losses and reduces operating temperatures.

A new, more efficient oil filter is also installed. The exhaust valves on all the twin cam models are made of steel (previously titanium) to increase their lifespan.

Thanks to its new design, engine top speeds remain unchanged for all engine sizes. The gearbox has been updated to provide faster, more accurate changes with improvements made to the gear change shaft, gearbox lever and selector mechanism.

On the 250 as on all the other twin cam models, a new timing chain tensioner has been fitted along with new block gasket.

Gaining an all new chassis and fuel injection for 2008, the TE250 didn’t need much changing however that hasn’t stopped Husqvarna R&D working hard to optimise the package. For 2009 the frame has been revised to save approx 1kg and to improve rider feedback, there is a new ‘race ready’ exhaust system and a number of internal engine changes aimed at improving the feel of the gear shift and general engine durability. Black Excel rims, wavy discs, new graphics, new digital dash and a new headlight shield complete the package.

FOUR-STROKE ENDURO MODELS
The new four-stroke 250, 310, 450 and 510 Enduro models have seen significant modifications.
Husqvarna engineers concentrated on the frame to make the twin cam four-stroke even lighter and easier to handle.

To achieve this, the frame is of a completely new design with new levels of rigidity and settings for dealing with power that optimise handling and give the rider a much better feel for the bike. The frames on all the 2009 four-stroke Enduro models have been lightened by 1 kilo compared to 2008.
On the safety front, new exclusively designed Wave type brake discs improve performance under even extreme conditions. New 2009 graphics adorn the white racing number panels on the sides and the new headlamp unit that houses the smaller, lighter digital display is also white.

Still on the subject of looks, the wheels are black anodised Excel rims and the new plastic engine protectors on both sides are also black. The newly designed side stand is made of aluminium.
These modifications apply to all the Enduros but each model has had various changes made to the engine.
